Hey, a couple of my favorite family-friendly hikes around the Banff townsite are Fenlands Trail and the Cave & Basin Marsh Loop. In Lake Louise, my go-to is the Lake Louise Lake Shore trail. Another nice one-up the Icefields Parkway is Bow Summit Lookout accessed from the Peyto Lake parking lot. This one is longer than the other hikes I’ve listed but the trail is still easy and the views definitely make the distance worth it.

Check out this day hiking section on the Parks Canada website and have a look at the hikes rated as easy and that is recommended for the time of year you are planning your hike.
