Camping Reservations Open On Wednesday
Banff National Park camping reservations for this upcoming April through March 2023 open this Wednesday, January the 26th. Reservations can be made by phone or online to secure your spot at one of Banff’s 13 reservable campgrounds or any one of the park’s numerous backcountry sites.
In the front country serviced or unserviced sites will be available as well as Parks Canada “glam camping” option known as oTENTik. If you’ve always wanted to do a backpacking trip to one of the parks’ gorgeous backcountry sites such as Taylor or Egypt Lake then Wednesday is the day to snag one of those coveted spots. The same goes for reserving a spot at one of the park’s smaller campgrounds on a holiday weekend such as Rampart or Silverhorn Creek.
Check out this Camping 101 page from Parks full of tips and advice on planning your next camping adventure. On this page, you’ll find information on different camping types, how to make a reservation, rules & etiquette, what is and what’s not available at the campgrounds, and a whole lot more useful info.
You will be able to make reservations online at this page starting at 8 am MST on Wednesday and it’s recommended to visit the day before to ensure that you are prepared. To make your reservation by phone call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783) in North America with the lines being open from 8 am to 6 pm local time, 519-826-5391 is the number to call if you’re in the rest of the world.

I hope everyone was able to lock in their camping plans. I’m booked in close to home at Two Jack Lakeside for May long weekend.
